The Coof…is one of the easiest things I’ve ever done in my life.
It’s easier than being broke. It’s easier than starving or being fat–at least I presume. It’s easier than not getting laid. It’s easier than renting an apartment and not having health care and being afraid of the dark–and that last one I absolutely mean.
It’s easier than dealing with suicidal ideation. It’s easier than studying for a test. It’s easier than studying for an STD test. It’s easier than taking either one. It’s easier than going to work, not going to work, getting a job, being a slob, eating a knob. It’s easier than dealing with global warming. It’s easier than saving for retirement. It’s easier than HODLing crypto. It’s easier than believing in God.
You have to ask then…if it’s so easy, what else will they lock everything down for?
Profit as a motive is no longer on the table. Unless we’re talking about profit in the meta and the abstract; the froth and churn of generational wealth, oil into debt and so on. But as a motive for individual actors, this is dead. And it makes sense. As wealth is transformed, melted up from the ground up, it is transmogrified. Annihilated for the obsequious class. Journalists, trusted members of the community, the police, “research” scientists. The political apparatus of the state. One long chain of increasingly petty tyrants who exist only to enforce their will upon you.
It’s for safety. I understand. But again, at what level? COVID is one of the easiest things I’ve ever had to go through in my life. Other than the wasted time–a couple of days. To have a vaccination for such a thing is insane. To even consider an experimental one for it–the easiest thing you’ve ever gone through in your life–is insane.
Profit is no longer on the table. No matter how you look at it. Just LEGO.
